About WECode.

The WECode (Women Engineers Code) Conference is organized by undergraduate women at Harvard University and is an initiative of Harvard Undergraduate Women in CS. WECode hosts the largest student-run women in tech conference in the world. We host an annual conference for undergraduate students in the spring.

History & Team

With our first conference held in 2014, 2025 marks our 11th year of WECode!

At the beginning, we were a small group of motivated students from the Harvard Undergraduate Women in CS club. Since then, the tech landscape has changed dramatically – WECode has changed with it.

Today, our team has grown to 30+ undergraduate students, all united to serve this mission of uplifting women to break boundaries in tech! Together, we’re honored to help build a space of support, learning, and inspiration, empowering young women in tech to shatter barriers and thrive in the industry.

For more than a decade, WECode’s mission has been to not only host a conference in February, but to help enact lasting change. As we look back on our journey, we are so proud of the impact WECode has had in bridging the gender gap in tech, and we look forward to continuing our mission for years to come.
