What are the common modes of transportation within the Cambridge/Boston area?

In the Cambridge and Boston area, there are several modes of public transportation such as the MBTA (the T), which costs $2.40 per ride, and local bus lines, which typically cost $1.70 per ride. Reserving an Uber or other ridesharing services is definitely another way to go, especially if you can carpool with others!

How long should I book my stay for?

At a minimum, we advise attendees to secure housing for Saturday night if arriving in Boston Saturday morning, and Friday and Saturday nights for those arriving one day prior to the conference weekend. Estimated pricing for accommodations in this guide are calculated based on a two-night stay.

How can I get around the Harvard campus?

Once you reach Harvard, there are a number of convenient shuttle buses operated by the school that will take you across the campus.
